A divorced couple had spent months in and out of court over custody disagreements regarding their two children. Each parent felt unheard and concerned that the legal process was taking a toll on the children’s well-being. The family was referred to our ADR center for mediation.
Our Personal Approach
During multiple sessions, a trained family mediator helped the parents reframe their concerns around the best interest of the children. Both parties were guided through a structured dialogue focused on understanding each other's needs, the children’s routines, school commitments, and emotional needs. With the support of the mediator, they reached a comprehensive shared custody arrangement that included a flexible visitation calendar, clear communication protocols, and guidelines for decision-making.
